It is important that you comply with the process below to ensure that your child is accepted to a school of your choice. Please follow the instructions below or contact the provided numbers or email addresses for more information and assistance.
Please Note – The closing date to finalize this process is 12 July 2019.
SUCCESSFUL/ACCEPTED APPLICANTS :
Parents wanting to confirm their final choice of a school needs to proceed as follows:
Parents can confirm online by logging on to
- https://admissions.westerncape.gov.za
- Go to the “Track Applications and Confirm” option and proceed as required.
Parents who don’t have access to the online system can confirm via email at the following address:
- wced.admissions@westerncape.gov.za
Parents can also call the following numbers to confirm acceptance:
- 021-370 2120 (Ms. Anastasia Rose) or 021-370 2106 (Mr. Sive Jara).
A letter of confirmation can be handed to the school for uploading onto the system by the school.

Message format must be as follows:
- Parent name and surname
- Cell number
- Learner name and surname
- CEMIS number
- School name
- “I hereby confirm that my child/ward will be attending (name of Primary/High School) in 2020”
