LU4C – Excitement at Tafalah Primary School

LU4C was back at Talfalah Primary today (13 Aug 2020) with yet another surprise for the learners. For those who remember, on the 20th July 2020 #theCrew were finally able to hand over the Tablet Computer.

Realising the school’s ambitions to shift the learning process to the “online arena” and in keeping with our self-empowerment initiatives, #TheCrew started investigating ways to help facilitate this dream.

Conversations with Marwaan May from Vodacom lead to a collaborative effort between Vodacom, EduBiz Media and LU4C where we were able to hand over simcards for each one of their Tablet Computers.

These simcards will give learners Unlimited FREE access to the Vodacom e-school platform, which has content, activities, videos and various support tools to assist learners with online learning. The e-school caters for Grades R to 12 in most learning areas.

Mr Karriem, the principal of the school said this donation is the start that the school needed to take the learners onto the e-learning platform.

Learners that were present on the day also received a warm Weet-bix breakfast, courtesy of our friends at Pioneer Foods and Dairy Mart.  Special treats were also shared courtesy of our friends at EduBiz Media.

Mr Ashraf Allie, Chairperson of the Fish Rite Hanover Park Cricket Club also joined us and LU4C and the cricket club will be embarking on an exciting project speaking to self-empowerment and community upliftment. Watch this space for some exciting news. #BreakingBoundaries

As an organization we are extremely grateful for the opportunities we have been blessed with and the amazing people we have met along the way. None of our achievements would have been possible without the mercy from above and the support from these amazing individuals and organizations. We pray for that The Almighty bestows his richest blessing on them and their businesses and that we are afforded a long and fruitful relationship contributing positively to our communities – إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ
